What is Nordic Skiing?
Also known as Cross-country or XC skiing, nordic skiing is the original type of skiing in which the skier is attached to the ski at the toe of the boot. The heal is free allowing the skier to kick and glide on the ski.

The roots of nordic skiing can be traced as far back as 3000BC in Scandinavia in which it was used as a survival tool for getting around in the deep snow. It wasn't until the 1800's when it became a social and recreational sport.

Nordic skiing is one of the best cardiovascular activities out there. It is low impact on the body as well as easy to do.
